Shinae Lee

She obtained a B.S. in Bio & Environmental Technology from Seoul Women's University and a Master's degree in Veterinary Biomedical Sciences from Seoul National University, where she studied the molecular mechanisms underlying METTL8-mediated breast cancer cell migration under the mentorship of Prof. Je-Yoel Cho.

She joined the Lee Lab as a Research Assistant III at Mercer University School of Medicine in November 2025, and her current research focuses on investigating underlying mechanisms regulating neuronal aging to better understand the molecular basis of neurodegenerative diseases.
